The small village of Ploumanac'h is a short walk from site and has a shop, some great restaurants and a bar. Perros-Guirec (2mls) is a picturesque and bustling seaside resort with many shops, restaurants and bars. A gentle stroll along the coastal path will take you to the nearest beach which is rocky with some sandy coves and rock pools. There is a sandy beach at Trestraou, a thirty minute walk along the coast.

Try a spot of star gazing at the Tregor Planetarium, the largest in Europe, part of Cosmopolis at Pleumeur-Bodou (15mins drive). Wildlife lovers will enjoy a boat trip from Ploumanac'h or Perros to Les Sept Iles, which has one of the biggest bird sanctuaries in Europe.
