We have 46 reviews for Ashbourne Heights.
We arrived on a Monday and the holiday park was neat and tidy. The accommodation was a good size, clean and well equipped. Location was very good. Staff were very helpful and always cheerful. Our lodge was 002 and handy for the shop and swimming pool. We had off road parking with a gate that could be shut and made us more private. We will return to this lodge and park again and we would recommend them to our friends.

Helpful, friendly staff, lovely accommodation, very clean and modern lodge. Great to be able to walk straight onto the Tissington Trail.

The whole holiday was fantastic. If you want a lovely quiet park and fantastic scenery I would definitely recommend Ashbourne Heights.

We would recommend this holiday. We are going to come back again with our friends and family as we thought it was great for us, having a baby and is suitable for all ages. We were pleased with the location as it was near shops and pubs for eating out.

We had a fantastic time. The lodge was very clean and to an exceptional standard. The views were outstanding. The bike rides from the park were very enjoyable and would recommend for family or couples alike. We will definitely be visiting the park again, but will be hoping for better weather next time!!!

Excellent standard of accommodation, a beautiful area of the country and lots to do. We walked and cycled a lot, but there were plenty of other things to do.

We have today returned from our weekend away at Ashbourne Heights and it really is the nicest park we have ever used. Lodge 10 was one of a single row of lodges over looking a grass verge that our 2 children were able to run free on at any time. With a 4 year old and 18 month old, the play area was invaluable and really quiet which was a massive bonus at this time of year. The lodge itself surpassed all expectations with plenty of space and every comfort of home - most importantly CBeebies and a DVD player for Peppa Pig! Another massive bonus was a gate attached to the veranda to enclose any wandering toddlers and restore peace of mind. The park is conveniently located for local attractions and the staff were lovely. We will definitely visit again. There were also added bonuses we weren't expecting like the bath in the larger bathroom, (as well as the en suite with shower) and the dishwasher. A really relaxing and enjoyable weekend!

Located in a glorious setting with very close access to footpaths and trails directly from the site.

Not only did the campsite have excellent facilities, but where the campsite was positioned, the local area had many attractions also.

We had a lovely holiday at Ashbourne Heights. Our Lodge that we stayed in was beautiful, modern, clean, well equipped and very cosy - a home from home. I would also like to comment on how friendly and helpful the staff were at Ashbourne Heights. Ashbourne Heights was our second choice as we were unable to stay at Alton Towers resort but Ashbourne Heights will now become our first choice because of the accommodation and value for money. Thank you.

If you want luxury on a park then book the lodge - it is more like a trendy hotel suite than a traditional lodge - we loved it!
I would highly recommend to others as the area is lovely, the people are helpful and the lodges are beautiful, altogether a very enjoyable experience.

The chalets were beautifully finished and furnished! A real taste of luxury whilst on a holiday. Lovely situation and aspect was great.

A good location and easy to get to, a clean and comfortable lodge, friendly and helpful staff. A good 'get-away-from-it-all' park, and being located in the Peak District there was lots to see and easy to get to.

Ashbourne Heights was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, the log cabin was beautifully furnished and modern, clean upon arrival, comfortable beds and luxurious kitchen facilities.

The web site and brochure do not do justice to this beautiful park which is set in a good location, has a high standard of accommodation, excellent facilities for a relaxing stay and warm welcoming staff who we found to be extremely helpful.
An excellent location for a family cycling or walking holiday, particularly with pre teen children as the Tissington trail runs across the driveway.

We were really happy with all the facilities on the site at Ashbourne. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I have never stayed in that area before, I found everyone so friendly I would go there again without hesitation.

The accommodation is ideally located for ramblers, cyclists or just those who want a base to use whilst touring the beautiful unspoilt region. The site is ideal for any weather.

We had a lovely weekend break at Ashbourne Heights. The park is very peaceful and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The lodge was beautiful, there were 2 bedrooms (one ensuite), and a separate bathroom with a bath. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a dishwasher, washing machine and full size fridge freezer. Lots of space and spotlessly clean, we couldn't fault anything. There is lots to do in the area - we visited Matlock Bath and watched the illuminations in Derwent park, also we enjoyed the Heights of Abraham. We went to Crich Tramway Village which was a great day out. Also Carsington Water was lovely for a walk and had a nice coffee shop. Bakewell is also a lovely place to visit, and we had a really tasty Sunday lunch at the Knockerdown Inn too. Also recommended is the chinese in Ashbourne, The Dragon's Nest, gorgeous take away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return - thank you!

Would recommend this to anyone, good for families and couples. Tissington Trail on the door step so very good for dog walking and a park next to the lodge which is good for kids. Accommodation was spotless.
Good convenient location, well run site with good accommodation and friendly helpful staff. All you need for a great holiday.
Lovely little peaceful getaway within easy reach of local towns and attractions including the amazing Alton Towers. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the pool was very refreshing and included in the price of the lodge. The lodges are lovely and comfortable, spacious and clean and definitely somewhere to go and unwind from everyday life.
Beautiful location, fantastic accommodation.
The Lodge was immaculate and well furnished, the views and park were beautiful and very tidy and clean. The location was ideal - with Ashbourne and Matlock within easy reach by car. With 2 kids under 5 we were concerned they would have enough to do but the wide open spaces and well equipped play park was more than enough to tire them out each night.
We had a lovely 4 day break at Ashbourne Heights and would have extended our stay but they were fully booked! Our lodge was modern, clean and well equipped - we couldn't fault anything. The staff were friendly and helpful, with nothing too much trouble for them. A peaceful and friendly park, the most noise we heard was from the sound of the lambs and their mums in a nearby field! The Coaches & Horses in nearby Fenny Bentley is highly recommended - a 2 minute drive or 15 minutes walk away - food and ale both very good indeed and well priced. We will be returning.
lovely cabin, very clean and had everything you could possibly need.
Accomodation was outstanding and the site was lovely and quiet with a good park to entertain my 3 year old.
Fantastic location for touring around, site very clean and well cared for. Staff brilliantly helpful when dealing with problems, second visit to site means really pleased with it as a whole.
Lodge was maintained at an excellent standard throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable and gated veranda, an ideal safe area for our toddler to play.
The park was quiet and tidy, play area was very good and shop very handy. Was lovely that we could stay on same site as our family who were camping.
The holiday accommodation surpassed our expectations - we were absolutely thrilled - it was a home from home and we thought it offered extremely good value for money.
The lodge we stayed in was just like being at home. I really found it peaceful away from all the hustle & bustle!!
We would recommend this park to others, the lodge was lovely, very nicely furnished and in a great place.
