Description

Sitting on the tree-lined banks of Lake Windermere, the National Trust campsite at Low Wray gives you access to a wealth of watersports and great walks.

It lies on the west bank, where you can see the glistening waters of England's greatest lake as they stretch away to north and south. The site even has its own launching area, allowing you to enjoy a host of opportunities for sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and other watersports.

Yet the dry land here is just as beguiling, with many paths to explore for both walkers and cyclists and spectacular views over the lake to The Fairfield Horseshoe and Wansfell Pike.
